1. Lime Margarita Jell-O Shots

Margaritas are, perhaps, the ultimate summer cocktails. But what would make them even better than some lime and Jell-O? Kiss goodbye to the summer heat and say hello to a great way to have a margarita!

All you need is: Lemonade, Whole Limes, Unflavoured Gelatine, Tequila, Triple sec and Sweetened Lime Juice.

Steps to Prepare
  1. Cut the limes in half and scoop the insides out.
  2. Add some lemonade and sprinkle some gelatine in a saucepan. Let it sit for a minute.
  3. Low heat it and keep stirring until the gelatine dissolves. This should take about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the tequila and triple sec in the mixture and pour it into the half limes.
  5. Refrigerate for a few hours. Once set, cut the limes in half and serve it with some salt.

Get drunk!

 

2. Cucumber Margarita Jell-O Shots

Beat the summer and chill your feisty heart with a dose of these wild yet classy Jell-O shots. Fresh and flavourful with just enough cucumber to make you feel totally relaxed!

All you need is: Triple sec, unflavoured gelatine, frozen (thawed) lime concentrate, water, small cucumber and tequila (silver).

Steps to Prepare
  1. Coarsely chop 3-inch lengths of cucumber. Place it in a shaker and mix it up vigorously. Add tequila to the shaker along with ice and shake it for a while before you put it aside.
  2. Pour water and lime concentrate into a saucepan and add some gelatine in it. After letting it set for a couple of minutes, heat it with a low flame until the gelatine dissolves.
  3. Strain the tequila mixture and pour it in the gelatin while stirring it along with the triple sec. Pour it into an ice tray and set it in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  4. Once set, serve it.

Chill and unwind!

 

3. Tequila Sunrise Jell-O Shots

This is a Jell-O shot that looks gorgeous and has all the colours of summer. Extremely refreshing and wonderful, it's all of the summer wrapped up in a teeny shot glass! After all, tequila, fun and summer go hand in hand!

All you need is: Orange juice, silver tequila, grenadine (bar syrup), unflavoured gelatin and drink umbrellas (optional).

Steps to Prepare
  1. Pour some orange juice and sprinkle some gelatine in a saucepan. Let it settle for a minute or two.
  2. On a low flame, heat and keep stirring until the gelatine dissolves. Now remove from the flame and stir in the tequila.
  3. Pour the orange mixture into a shot glass, about 3/4th of the capacity. Refrigerate it for 35-40 minutes and start the red mixture.
  4. Pour grenadine and sprinkle some gelatine in a saucepan. Let it soak for 1-2minutes.
  5. Heat on a low flame and stir the gelatine. Add more of the grenadine and stir.
  6. Pour the slightly warm red mixture over the nearly set orange mixture. Refrigerate for a couple of hours.
  7. When ready, serve it with the drink umbrellas.

4. Grape Jell-O Vodka Cocktail

Steps to Prepare
  1. Stir gelatine and boiling water until it dissolves. Add lime beverage, vodka, and lime juice.
  2. Take a baking dish (or anything similar) and coat it with non-stick cooking spray. Pour mixture into the dish. Chill for a few hours until it sets.
  3. Once set, cut it into squares and serve it in a cocktail glass.
